Bean Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce

Bean-based spaghetti is naturally balanced with the correct protein to carbohydrate ratio so all you have to add is a fat source. In this meal, the parmesan cheese acts as the fat source. Bean-based pastas are  great because they cook quickly (which is convenient), they absorb slowly (which is good for fat loss), they are high fiber which keeps you feeling full, and the serving size is plentiful. This recipe uses Explore Cuisine™ brand “Organic Adzuki Bean Spaghetti” or you can also use their “Organic Black Bean Spaghetti”.

1 cup cooked Explore Cuisine Organic Adzuki Bean Spaghetti (a heaping cup for men)
1 cup of a tomato sauce*
Diced basil
1 Tbsp parmesan cheese

* Purchase a Core Fat Loss approved tomato sauce, such as Rao’s® or Victoria® brand.
